Concert first performed on September 20, 2008.

Join the MPO for a FREE concert in Ted Mann Concert Hall at the University of Minnesota’s School of Music as we celebrate some of our favorite selections from our past and upcoming seasons. As a part of the World Cultural Conference of the International Gay and Lesbian Cultural Network, the MPO will be performing four works that represent six different countries. (How is that possible?) In addition, we are thrilled to welcome back local pianist Paul Kovacovic for a special encore performance of Saint-Saëns’ “Egyptian” Piano Concerto. If you haven’t heard the MPO in a while, now is your chance! (By the way – did we mention this concert is FREE?)

The concert is sponsored as part of the World Cultural Conference in Minneapolis, organized by the International Lesbian and Gay Cultural Network. Thanks ILGCN!
